What Signboard is

Signboard is run by Hrutu Rajaram Swar, an individual in India. It helps freelance web developers find local businesses, see how likely each is to need a website, check their websites, write WhatsApp messages and keep track of follow-ups. You can use the core tool as a guest, with a free account, or with the paid Pro plan. What each includes is on the pricing page.

Who can use it

You must be 18 or older and able to enter into a contract under Indian law. You use Signboard for your own freelance or business work. You are responsible for what happens under your account, so keep your sign-in secure and tell us if you think someone else has used it.

How you may use it

• Follow the law, including India's rules on unsolicited commercial messages, and WhatsApp's own terms. You choose who to message and what to write, and you are responsible for it.
• Be honest in your messages. Do not claim a business has problems it does not have, and do not pretend to be someone else.
• Do not send bulk or repeated messages to people who have said no or asked you to stop.
• Do not copy, scrape, resell or build a database from the business data Signboard shows. Do not export Google data in bulk.
• Do not try to get around search limits, rate limits or plan limits, or share one Pro account between several people.
• Do not probe or attack Signboard or the services it relies on, or use it to reach private or internal addresses.

Signboard only helps you open a WhatsApp chat with your message filled in. You send it yourself. We never message anyone for you.

Business data and scores

Business details come from Google Maps and may be out of date or wrong. Scores, website checks, speed results and AI-written messages are estimates and suggestions. They are not advice, and they do not promise that a business will answer you or become a client. Check them before you rely on them, and read any AI message before you send it.

Business data from Google is also covered by the Google Maps and Google Earth Additional Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. We keep only place IDs long term, so details you see may disappear and be fetched again later.

Reports you share

A report is a public page for anyone who has the link. It stops showing after 30 days. You decide who gets the link and what you say about the business. Reports describe how a website was built and how it performed on the day we checked, and they are not a statement about the business owner.

Pro plan, billing and cancelling

• Pro costs ₹499 a month and renews each month until you cancel. Payments go through Razorpay by UPI Autopay or card.
• Cancel any time from the account page. Pro stays on until the end of the period you have paid for, then the account returns to Free. We do not charge you again after you cancel.
• We do not refund payments for a period that has started, unless we charged you by mistake or charged you twice. If that happens, email us and we will fix it. The full rules are in the cancellation and refund policy.
• If a renewal payment fails, Pro continues for a short grace period and then ends. Your leads and reminders stay on your account.
• Limits for each plan are shown on the pricing page. We may change prices or limits for future periods. We will tell you before a price change reaches your next renewal, and you can cancel before it does.

Other services

Signboard relies on Google (maps data, speed tests and AI), Supabase (storage and sign-in), Razorpay (payments) and WhatsApp (messaging). If one of them changes, limits us or goes down, parts of Signboard may change or stop working. We are not responsible for what those services do.

Who owns what

The Signboard software, design and scoring belong to us. Your leads, profile and the messages you write belong to you. You give us permission to store and process them only to run Signboard for you. Please do not copy our software or branding.

Stopping or suspending use

You can stop using Signboard at any time and ask us to delete your account (see the privacy policy). We may limit or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other people at risk.

No guarantees, and limits on liability

Signboard is provided as it is. It is a young product and we do not promise it will always be available or error free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost clients, lost income, or indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 3 months before it arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes, law and contact

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and if you keep using Signboard after a change you accept it. For a change that affects what you pay, we will tell you first.
